ABOUT ME

Like most everyone on couchsurfing.org, I love travel. I am originally from the San Francisco Bay Area which is an awesome place to be from. After a three year stint as a ski bum in the Rocky Mountains, I moved further east and I have been living in NYC for the last year. I'm currently working on a Masters of Public Health in Nutrition in the big city and enjoying life!

I try to host whenever possible and lately I've been attending some NYC CS gatherings.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed a lot of couches on my seven month trip around Europe in 2006 and it completely made the trip. One of my favorite experiences was meeting up with a bunch of CSers in Pamplona in 2006 for Sanfermines (Running of the Bulls fest). We all slept in the park together watching each others back. It was awesome to feel the true spirit of couch surfing in such and amazing place! I continue to try and host people whenever I can.

I once learned to believe that riding in a Toyota Corola station wagon taxi with nine passengers, two dogs, and a very young calf for an hour down a winding jungle mountain road is completely normal. That was kind of amazing.

I want to learn how to have fun in your language and dance your dance and enjoy what you enjoy eating. I can offer you some homemade soup. I make a lot of soup, heck we can even make some soup together! If you visit in the summer, too bad you get soup anyway! Ok, just kidding, we can have herb infused iced tea instead, ok? Ok, good.
