I'm young and eager to see and experience everything I can. I lived in the same house from the time I came home from the hospital to the time I moved up to university. I've always been yearning to explore. I love politics and history, geography and culture. I'm a big Bob Dylan fan and an avid reader of Tolkien. Battlestar Galactica and Mad Men are probably my favorite TV shows. I go to Bonnaroo every year. I play guitar, not very well--despite playing for eight years--and I enjoy just about every kind of music to some degree.

I love meeting new people from all walks of life and I hope I'm a good listener. I love both dogs and cats, but I have a special place in my heart for reptiles of all kinds. Astronomy is a big interest of mine, thanks to Carl Sagan. I'm on reddit more often than I should be, but whatever.

I am embarking on a trip through some European countries next month and would like to experience the locations this way since I feel it is more immersive and intimate that airbnb or hostels (my second choice).

I taught myself how to play the guitar. Not sure if that counts as amazing? I also love to write. I've written probably over a hundred poems and several short stories.
