ABOUT ME

I'm originally from a small town in the Midwest! I went to college at The Ohio State University where my love for languages really began. My first time travelling was on a study abroad experience to Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia. Ever since then, I can't wait for my next trip! Currently, I'm an English Teacher in Galabovo, Bulgaria where I teach 7th through 12 levels! Aside from teaching, I love travelling in general, meeting new people, playing games, learning different languages, and experiencing different cultures! I'm a huge extrovert who loves to talk!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've met plenty of surfers along and i'm interested in surfing, but i've yet to actually do it! Can't wait for my next trip!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have none at the moment aside from staying with friends around the United States and Georgia! I've hosted several friends while I taught in Georgia (country)! However, i'm very much open to new experiences!

兴趣

Overall, I try to be a very active individual; I love simply playing football, basketball, ultimate frisbee, chess, and backgammon even though i'm not the most talented athlete! I love trying new foods and i'm always down for long conversations! If you have a topic, i'm willing to talk about it! Finally, I always am trying to learn a little bit of the language of the places I visit! I'd love to exchange words and phrases in our respective languages!

Mostly, I listen to pop/hip hop music; however, I'm flexible! I love comedy, inspirational, and foreign films!

Favorite films: 'Pursuit of Happyness', 'Dedemin Insanlari', 'Mediterranea', 'Finding Nemo', and 'Ida'.

Favorite authors: Agatha Christie, Dan Brown, and J.K. Rowling.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Honestly, teaching English in Goergia this past year has been an incredible experience. I didn't expect to be here, but i've come to love it. Georgian is a rather complicated language and the education system is very different from the United States; however, I think that i'm meant to be a teacher!
