OUR STORY

After almost 12 years of marriage and spending most of our lives playing by the rules and raising children we’re going on a journey of self discovery. We’ve always had the desire to travel the world discovering new cultures and meeting new people. Cedric interested in expanding his cooking techniques and exploring the art of home craft brewing . KeeKee wants to expand her consulting business and learn at least 2 new languages.

Cedric Cornelious is a heavy equipment operator with 10+ years experience. He is also a US Army Vet, skilled auto and boat mechanic.

KeeKee Cornelious is currently an entrepreneur with 7+ years prior experience caring for Adults with Developmental Disabilities and 9+ years at the phone company as a customer service representative and sales support manager.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are interested in learning different and out of the box ways to travel and experience the world. Couch surfing appears to be a wonderful way to meet new people, make friends and learn more about the people and culture from those already living there. Cedric loves cooking for others and sees this as a perfect opportunity to share his delicious jerk chicken and other recipes with hosts around the globe. KeeKee is an adventurer and sees this as an opportunity to live, learn, and blog about the lessons she will later teach to others about how they too can travel the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We spent 30 days living in San Cristobal de la Casas Mexico with a limited knowledge of the language. What amazed us the most about the experience was how we were able to "function", experience the local culture and feel welcomed so far away from home without being fluent in Spanish.

Teach, Learn, Share

Cedric can show you how to spot an issue with your vehicle and how to fix it. KeeKee says she now knows more about cars than she ever thought she wanted because he can pretty detailed.

KeeKee loves to talk about travel, business and life. When she's not talking about business, she's talking about travel. She also loves to share tips on ways you can travel more without breaking the bank AND work less if you're an entrepreneur.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cedric is looking forward to sharing his food and cooking delicious meals for our hosts. He can also help with automotive issues that arise which may include helping to diagnose the problem and being a liaison between our host and their mechanic.

KeeKee is a good household manager and business consultant. She can help you with anything from organizing your life to starting, growing and managing your business. She's also great brainstorming ideas and creating plans of actions to achieve your goals.
