ABOUT ME

Travelled for a fews years after finishing school, a year in asia, a year in europe, Mainly working on farms and in communities.
I've been an labourer, bike mechanic, massage therapist, did some social work, I am currently a registered nurse.

I consider myself to be a nice person, I am relativelly sociable, depending on the amount of sleep ive got in me. I love being. doing stuff, or doing nothing.. reading, playing music ( harmonica), doing art, gardening, partaking in a good conversation.

I've hosted friends for short periods of time. I have been hosted in berlin, in belgium, in the north and south of france, and two weeks in turkey.

Interests

so first, music.. I love listening and playing music, harmonica is my instrument of choice, but I'm currently trying to learn the banjo.
cooking. I'm a gluten free ( celiac... Just in case you were thinking i'm into the gluten free fad for the fun of it...I'd much rather eat bread, I just can't..) vegetarian (used to be vegan), witch pretty much means I've got to cook alot for myself, but I truly enjoy it, trying new recipes all the time, experimenting with a lot of fermented foods.
Talking of fermentations, I brew a lot of alcohol, wine, cider, meads, gruits, I've done beers for friends, and spirits too.
Art.. I used to study in fine arts. I've always loved to draw, sculpt, paint and basically do stuff with my hands. Drawing is really what I've been practicing more of late.
I also love gardening, and anything that has to do with plants...literally.
Mycology is also a big interest of mine, I've been part of a mycology collective for two years where we did interior cultures. And mushroom hunting is one of my big passion.
did a lot of farm work and consider myself knowledgeable in the domain of permaculture.
Fixing bikes is also an interest of mine, repairing beaten up machines.
apart from that I love being outside, camping and such, being close to nature. Anywhere thats far out in the woods.
traveling in general, discovering new places in the world.

There's nothing better than sitting on the side of a riverbank in the woods, friend by my side.
