About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live your dreams, visit the places you've always wanted to go, eat the food you crave and surround yourself with the people you love and the everthing else will follow!

ABOUT ME

Fun, full of energy and always in search of an adventure...For me travelling is about seeing the sights by day, eating the food, meeting the people and partying atnight; all 4 things combined is travelling! Travelling has enabled me to experience so many amazing things, make so many wonderful friends around the world and of course it has helped me to learn grammatically incorrect French and Spanish. I have had the chance to work random jobs, from a snowboard instructor to djing at nightclubs in the French Alpes(Val D'Isere). Nothing could have prepared me for such experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe Diem....Seize the day, seize the moment and do as much as you humanly can on this earth...live life with no regrets. I hope to leave a legacy when I leave this earth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By hosting and surfing!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since I started couchsurfing in 2005 I've surfed through Eastern Europe, North America, Japan, Mexico, South America and many more...I've also had the opportunity to host some amazing people!
I absolutely love CS and what it stands for.
I stoked that is gives me the opportunity to gain a little insight into someone's life from another country, who speaks a different language or is cultural completely different is brilliant...thank you to all my hosts and to all the people Ive met through CS that's has helped made travelling such a pleasure and a unique experience...

I've even had hosts who have come to live in Melbourne work for us :)

Interests

LIKES: singing in the shower, eating delicious food at restaurants, sipping on a fine drop, capturing moments in time with my camera, cooking a delicious meal for my friends to enjoy, jumping off a cliff on a snowboard, being scared out of my life bungy jumping, exploring an alternate world scuba diving, racing cars on a road bicycle, experiencing the world as an intrepid traveller, yelling at the top of my voice during a hawks game.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: choices are as eclectic as the countries I have visited. Im currently flogging The Jezabels. Lana Del Rey, Bon Iver, The National, Tracey Chapman, Aventura, Pink Floyd, Cut Copy, The Cure, Muse, Royksopp, Belle and Sabastian, Fleetwood Mac, The XX, Tiesto, Florence + the Machine, Kanye

Movies and shows: Masterchef, Games of Throne, Modern Family, Anthony Bourdain, Misfits, Seinfeld, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Almost Famous, Amelie, Paris J'Taime, The Hangover, Fantastic Mr Fox, Napoleon Dynamite, Transformers, Lost in Translation, Synecdoche-New York(Charlie Kaufmann is a genius)

Books: The Alchemist, The Catcher in the Rye, One Day. I often read non-fiction...ie work related stuff or just keeping abreast with current affairs and world business. I am usually happy to read something if it is strongly recommended or shoved in my face.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been fortunate to see and do so many amazing things.
-Been on TV for a week doing the thing I love most...cooking!
-Swam with whale sharks and manta rays of Isla Holbox...Swam in with sharks in the Galapagos
-Scuba dived in the Great Barrier Reef and saw a school of cuttlefish change colours as they swam by,
-Snowboarded on a active Volcano in Japan and bathed in a natural Onsen (hot spring) afterwards,
-Stood right next to a bison in Yellowstone,
-Saw the Halfmoon in Yosemite, climbed Machu Picchu, Cotopaxi and Mt Rainier
