About Me
Привіт! Hello! Hallo! Hola! Bonjour! Salve! !مرحبا
I am Kseniia and I believe we can find a common language ☺️
I am Ukrainian and originally come from the Carpathian Mountains region. I have been studying and living in Kyiv. As for now I continue my studies at a Ukrainian university online and study International Business as a guest student at the University of Zürich.
I am deeply interested in cultures and languages and enjoy meeting people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It’s my first Couchsurfing experience, I would love to see how life is like in other countries from the perspective of being there.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love mythology and the books of Neil Gaiman and Donna Tartt. If you need recommendations about what to read from Ukrainian literature, I can give you several.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I taught my dog how to eat pickles.
Teach, Learn, Share
Recently I learned how to cook; I am really not an expert but I would be happy to share my knowledge of Ukrainian cuisine!
I have a funny little book of quotations with tonnes of stories within. All my friends just love it and I am always open to share stories from it. If you are also eager to listen to the stories about freshly-baked corn bread, buskers in Kyiv, dried roses pressed a book and my cute dog, you have found a right person.
I am always curious about cultures and life in different countries, and I would be glad to improve my beginner skills in dancing bachata, preparing Turkish coffee and keen to learn a few words from a new language.
