My name is Seema. I'm a born-and-raised Californian, family-born Persian, and a student of the world at heart. I love to explore, experience, and grow. I feel most alive when I´m running, practicing yoga, cooking, hiking, by the ocean, dancing my heart out, listening to music, meeting people, and learning. I´m eternally amazed by how rich the fabric of the world is...I love to learn and contribute what I can in the process.

I'm passionate about service and contribution to the world and about higher loving consciousness. I'm currently a high school teacher in underserved urban areas in South Central LA and am most interested in how the workings of the mind and inner consciousness manifest in the the rest of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've hosted and been hosted on Couchsurfing and have had wonderful experiences - I've made good friend that I'm still in touch with and have had my heart touched by many on my journeys around the world. I'm in the process of moving and can't host at the moment, but love connecting with people from all over the world and sharing seeds of local experience.
