About Me
Hi guys,
One of my earliest dreams I had when I was a child is that I would uplift and support the people around me. This is something I am currently doing by writing inspirational short stories on my website; www.keesberg.com
During my teens, I have always been a rebel against the education system in The Netherlands. Government funded schooling just wasn't my kind of deal. I jumped out of business school after I have seen the horror and beauty of China during my intern ship. From cancerous red rivers, to highly aggressive forms of capitalism, to working a few weeks for the 'new' Mao Zedong in Hang Zhou, my adventures were mind bobbling and eye opening for how quickly parts of this world are moving into destruction.
My world view was completely shaken and it was impossible for me to return to my old lifestyle after knowing this. I decided to use my talents and gifts in building an institute that might help people to be more whole, strong and to learn not only to survive, but also to thrive in their lives.
This has been a daily occupation for me and I have enjoyed every step of the journey so far!
Besides my passions for bodywork, holistic health, personal development, philosophy, writing, teaching and travelling, I hope to be of enough value for others so that I can support myself and my loved ones.
Thanks for reading my message,
P.s. I eat everything with respect and gratitude depending on what my body needs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think that our current technology can be a great, new way to bring people together from different backgrounds and cultures. I believe Couchsurfing is one of those new bridges that can bring cultures together. During my stay in Mexico - Tepozlan, I learned about how valuable and important hospitality is.
Wherever you go in the world, we all share some similar dreams of work, family and home. I am on Couchsurfing because I believe that hospitality is necessary in a world where many people live homeless, or aren't accepted as a fellow brother or sister and, therefore, rejected by their society. Hospitality can bridge cultures together, create a sense of community where ever you go and is key in learning about each others differences and learning to accept them.
I think it is a very fun way to explore each others differences in an intimate way!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spending three weeks in a Chinese company in middle China - Hang Zhou, where the company leader was inspired by Mao Zedong and was one of the leaders in the construction industry. Besides being on of the few Western people in a Chinese city of a few million, I was astonished with the history of China and its people during the regime of Mao Zedong.
