Overview
About Me
I've taught English in Japan for about 3 years now. I love traveling, especially exploring off the beaten path. I spend way too much time on music too, I play drums mostly, with a bit of guitar and piano on the side.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My first Couchsurfiing experience in South Korea was such a great one. My host was gracious and showed me the local places. I'd love to meet new and interesting people while traveling to as many places as possible. I think the best way to learn about cultures and places is from the people who have experienced it firsthand, and Couchsurfing is such a great way to do that.

I make original piano music! You can find it at http://asai.bandcamp.com.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like ballads, jazz, indie, piano music, and anything that is relaxing. I'm currently obsessed with Vulfpeck.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a year working at a daycare center for elderly people in rural Japan.
Teach, Learn, Share
I was an English teacher for 3 years, so if you are learning English I'd be happy to have conversations with you or answer questions. If you play music I'd be happy to jam on drums or guitar with you.
