(Le francais en-dessous.) I'm a poet/musician, studying French and Philosophy at Wadham college, Oxford. A few years ago I came to a German-only language camp in Marburg with 2 months' self-taught German, and I remember it fondly - I want more!

J'étudie le francais en angleterre, et je vais passer une année en France a enseigner l'anglais aux petits. Je cherche quelque part pour passer une semaine en attendant le 1er octobre, quand ma colocation va commencer. Si vous ne pouvez m'héberger que pendant quelques jours, n'hésitez pas a me contacter. Pas d'obligation bien sur, mais je voudrais aussi faire des amis.

L'histoire entiere:
Je veux arriver dans la région le 23me une semaine, avant le début de mon stage. J'ai une colocation pour la plupart de l'année, mais il n'y aura pas d'espace avant le 1er octobre. J'aurai plusieurs taches a regler (ouvrir un compte bancaire, trouver un SIM francais...) pendant cette semaine, mais j'espere qu'il y aura du temps pour faire ta connaissance et peut-etre manger ensemble.

Je viens d'angleterre mais cherche a parler autant que possible le francais, d'ou la cherche pour un couchsurfing au lieu d'un auberge. (Du coup je suis étudiant.e et j'aime économiser.) Apres cette semaine, je resterai dans la région huit mois : jusqu'a la fin de mai 2020. Je veux donc faire la connaissance de mes voisins futurs! J'aime faire la connaissance de personnes de n'importe quel age, et apprendre sur des styles de vie différent que le mien. Je communique bien et tu le trouveras facile de vivre avec moi. Je joue le saxophone et j'adore la musique, la danse, le sport, les livres, les jeux de plateau, cuisiner... Depuis peu de temps m'intéresse au balfolk et a la musique traditionelle ; si tu veux, on peut danser ensemble.

Depuis peu de temps: le balfolk! I play jazz saxophone, West African djembe and some harmonica. I also sing and write my own songs, and listen to a lot of rock and "world" folk.
I read a ton of fantasy books (Sanderson) and poetry (Rumi) plus whatever else catches my eye (Maya Angelou's biography...) I'm studying French at uni, so recently I'm also reading Baudelaire, La Montaigne and now Rabelais etc.

English is my mother tongue and I am happy to speak it with anyone who'd like to practice! I also tutor physics and mathematics up to A-level (pre-university level), so if your kids would like some help with homework I can help out.
