I'm from cold Estonia (where people live in iglus and drink vodka lol).

I try to step out of my comfort zone once in a while.
I'm not gonna lie, it has been a bit scary sometimes, but 9 times out of 10 what I got out of it was truly amazing and made all the hesitation I once felt completely worth it.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have met amazing people and had a great time thanks to couchsurf. I would have never thought people can be so generous sharing their accomodation and experiences but moreover spending their time on complete strangers :)
I have gained some good friends that are not just strangers from couchsurf anymore and I am really happy every time that I chose couchsurf over some hotel.
Doing couchsurfing has led me to amazing places like small cute beachhouse in Hawaii, jungle hut, apartment with a 40th floor ocean view etc, and I have come to a conclusion that really it is the journey not the destination that matters.

兴趣

As it is quite obvious I love to travel. Ever since I moved out of my parents house and started earning my own money I have always tried to save up for my next trip.
What I really love is mountains and hiking. So if you are planning to walk or climb some trails count me in. I am studying in environmental field so I love nature and animals. If I could I would have my own zoo haha :D But there must be a Panda!!!
Also I am really intrested to study more about nature photography and photography in general cause who wouldn't want to capture some amazing shots of their adventures.
I write a blog when I go somewhere for longer periods just so I wouldn't forget all the details and how I felt back then (and ofcourse cause my family and friends wouldn't stop asking questions otherwise hah). Reading some of the posts from years ago always makes me smile and all the memories come to life.

As much as I like writing myself I love reading travel books and blogs. Well-written memories make me feel like I'm truly present in another part of the world. Besides those I also like crime and mystery books.
My music taste is from wall to wall but mostly I love Kid Cudi, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Kid Ink,Mac Miller, Juicy J, Kanye etc hip hop artists. Guess I have a heart of a gangsta :D
I like also party music, dubstep and drum and bass.
When I study or just need to chill I listen to Imagine Dragons, Mumford and the Sons, Of Monsters and Men, Crystal Fighters or whatever indie-folk-rock artist.
I usually watch serials cause I get so addicted every time I find something good.
Love Suits, The Big Bang Theory, Brooklyn 9-9 , Orange is the new black. and of course my old favourites like Breaking bad, Weeds, HIMYM... and the list goes on. Other than serials I like mindfuck movies (like Inception or Gone girl), cartoons and dramas. And comedies, but it is so hard to find good ones.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I travelled to the other side of the world ALONE, made new friends for life, skydived, hiked in the deepest mud and jungle, got lost, spent my nights sleeping on the beach, sat on vulcanic rocks and watched meteor shower and lava flowing into the ocean.

Never stop exploring. You don't have to travel thousands of kilometers to explore yourself(but it surely helps haha), some new interesting book or maybe there are (and there sure is) places you haven't visited in your hometown.
I must say that I have learned so much about myself abroad that I would never know otherwise.
