Music, Movies, and Books

in music, i like a lot of different stuff. the focus is on alternative stuff, not too hard, with progressive elements, guitars, electronica, you get an idea. but for brunches and relaxed evenings i like world music a lot, or singer-songwriter stuff. sometimes feel like classic or jazz as well. and i can even listen to charts, as long as they are somehow innovative or interesting and have not been overplayed (which is actually kind of difficult to encounter)

in books i like being carried away by the story, so anything fiction or semi-fiction is cool, the more adventurous the better. that might be straight SF/Fantasy stuff but mostly it's rather something more related to this world like thrillers or adventure novels. i also want the book to have a certain message or meaning instead of just being exciting.

in movies, the same applies - plus i want great pictures. i can also watch artsy films that leave me a bit bamboozled. if the pictures are amazing and there is some meaning in it, it does not need to be exciting at all times.
