Overview
About Me
I am originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, but moved to California a year ago for fun! I have always loved to try new things, travel, and learn, and I am now back into the next travel stage of my life.
I studied Holistic Health & Wellness in school at Indiana University and hope to continue into Herbalism and Chinese Medicine.
I am certified to teach Vinyasa Yoga and STOTT Pilates, I have interned with a raw food chef in LA who makes insanely delicious concoctions, and I've spent the last 8 months working at a local juice bar!
I love the outdoors and surrounding myself with nature and good company. I love spending time with friends and family, horseback riding, dancing, cooking, conversations about the universe, trying new things, thinking outside the box, developing a spiritual practice.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am going on an 8 week road trip with my best friend!
We are starting in California and going throughout the western U.S. and Canada, visiting National Parks and Forests. So far we have made it to Yosemite, Sequoia, and King's Canyon and will be traveling up the PCH and around the Pacific Northwest, slide over to Wyoming and up to Montana and Canada then swing back around to Washington and back to Oregon.
We are two fun, happy and low maintenance individuals who are looking to meet cool people to host us for a night or two! :) We are drama free and will be used to living in the wilderness for days at a time, so we will be grateful for whatever accommodations.
We would also love to cook you a yummy dinner and chat about our latest adventures and hear about yours.
With love,
Keira & Laura

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to listen to all kinds of music! It depends on my mood :) My favorites are R&B, Jazz, Indie, Rock n Roll
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I swam in an underwater cave in Guatemala and used a candle in my mouth as the only source of light! EEK! This was the most terrifying yet incredible experience in my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
Learning and growing is a big priority of mine.
If personal growth can be considered a hobby, it is one of my absolute favorites! Stepping outside of my comfort zone is a regular thing for me and is where I feel I am getting the most out of life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to share my knowledge about health and wellness, my yoga practice and my cooking skills!!
I would be happy to lead a little Vinyasa flow, meditation or some stretching.
I also love to share in great, deep conversations about the depths of the universe or even the lightest of topics with people from all walks of life.
