Overview
About Me
I'm laid back, prefer a craft beer to a nightclub and am a bit of a geek.
I like to achieve things, and I hate being lazy. It would be too cliche to say "I live my life to the fullest" (and probably a lie), but I do try to stay active, healthy and busy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm recently been travelling and enjoyed the opportunity to meet new, local people, and avoid some of the dirty hostels! I've had some great experiences surfing with people and these hosts form some of the best memories of my trip so far.
I look forward to returning the favour and paying some karma back into the system.
Interests
I like to play games, watch motorsports, juggle and run. I like to drink craft beer in moderate quantities. Science, and especially space fascinate me.

Music, Movies, and Books
Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy is probably my favourite read. Murakami and David Mitchell have been doing it for me lately too.
Korean films never fail to entertain me, especially the quirkier ones like I'm A Cyborg... But It's Okay, and Kim's Island.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Setting an unofficial world record for the 3-ball 50km joggle in Japanese in 2019!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can juggle (3 balls well, 4 balls ok, 5 balls terribly) and I can play Chess (moderately). I am also a pretty well-qualified English teacher. I am happy to teach or trade skills.
