About Me

Hi, there!
My name is Keita, 30 years old Japanese working as multinational sales for a manufacturing company. I am friendly and easy to get along with.

I like reading books, watching movies, traveling a place I've never visited before.
I've been in U.S. for about one year when I was an university student.

Philosophy
You have to go for what you want and live with no regrets ... as long as you're not hurting anyone else!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couch-surfing because I would like to meet and talk with new people! After studying in America for about one year, I've come to think I want to know more about other cultures. In that sense, I found couch surfing is a great way since it provides people a chance to live like local people do. There is nothing better than hanging out with locals in the local joints.

I am originally not that outgoing person but have found myself recently trying to become more active. I am looking forward to meeting new people, exchanging my ideas about various things with them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like British and Japanese Rock.

Muse, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys are my favorite.

I also like listening to Japanese music, so I can introduce you some if you are interested in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was a bit lucky to be able to stay at a luxury hotel for free in Kenya.
When I was about to graduate from my university, I had a chance to go to Cameroon for an internship.
On the way to Cameroon from Egypt, I was supposed to transit at airport at Nirobi in Kenya. However, since my flight departed late, passengers could not catch the flight to Cameroon from Kenya, which leaves only once a day. And then, the airline company apologized their delay and gave the passenger free stay at a luxury hotel in the central area of Nirobi. I was not in hurry at all, and decided to enjoy the sudden day-off. Since the hotel offered me a free safari tour, I enjoyed the great nature of Nirobi, Kenya.
