About Me
Currently interrailing through Europe and seeking couches :).
Born in London to a German Mother and a Nigerian Father. Despite the mouthful of a surname, it's a diverse background that I am very proud of.
After a few years in London, a stint in Germany and a few years in the quiet town of Colchester (Essex) I moved back to London to study (my bank account has hated me ever since).
I spent a year working at Bentley Motors (hence the profile picture) as part of my degree course. It was great fun and I have to say those cars really are nice! I've just finished my degree and will be doing some travelling over the summer before moving up to Manchester in October 2015 and going back to work at Bentley.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I mentioned in the 'about me', I'll be doing a fair bit of travelling this summer (and hopefully for many years to come) and I've heard pretty good reviews about this site. I want to gain some new experiences and meet some new people before I enter the world of work and this seems like a great way to do it.
Interests
Apart from travel, over the last year I have discovered a passion for film photography and my two pentax cameras will be accompanying me on my journeys this summer.
That aside, I enjoy sport (football and american football in particular), all kinds of music (everything from r&b, to indie, to rock, to house - if it's good, it's good), good food and meeting new people / experiencing new things.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: As I mentioned under interests, I have a pretty eclectic music taste. My motto is 'if it's good, it's good'. I don't confine myself to any particular genres.
Movies: It's hard to narrow these things down, but one film that always sticks in my mind is Lucky Number Slevin.
Books: As with films, it's hard to narrow these things down, but I tend to stick to non-fiction. I enjoy reading books that examine society and social phenomenon.
