ABOUT ME

We are Keith and Joanna. An original couchsurfing couple brought together by fate and this site. We decided the best way to *really* get to know each other would be to live in a small campervan while driving around Europe meeting other awesome people to punctuate the monotony of each others company. We sorta really like each other.

It went a little something like this... I (Joanna, American, broken college student) was bumming around Ireland and the UK killing what was left of my generally wasted summer so I was helpxing in Northern Ireland. I got bored hanging out with a 9 year old all day. So I sent out a few frantic couchsurfing requests for new friends. Who comes to my aid? None other than this grungy, just from work, Irishman who found me in Lurgan. Just guess what this valiant knight drove... his trusty steed... the van we will be rolling up to your place in. Hope you don't mind. (We will likely be driving this if we're anywhere near the European continent.)
And that is that.

January 14th, 2012 we got hitched. Keith is applying for his green card. We live in a 27 ft trailer. Joanna works on her business www.thegreencleanqueen.com and Keith is hyper productive and pimps out the trailer and gets farming things done.

PHILOSOPHY

I (Joanna) say, "aim low and you'll never be disappointed."
Keith is somehow always positive and optimistic.
This is sometimes borderline annoying to Joanna, but she deals because too much pessimism will make the van break down. That's the power of energies for ya.

How do we participate? We want to hang out with you. So we couchsurf... but in a van. It's sorta like curbsurfing then, I guess. Where should we park?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I (Joanna) found this one guy on couchsurfing that I really like. It was an accident.

Keith probably did something cool once, too... I remember him mentioning something about this American couchsurfer once who lived at his house for a week or so because she got kicked out of where she was staying because of a swine flu scare. Good story.

Joanna likes things that make her giggle, words, alternative music, and beer.
Keith likes kitesurfing, guitar, interior design, nail polish, and hand painted gnomes. He is a true renaissance man with eclectic taste.
