About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Experiencing Europe, trying to live adventurously, liberating my mind.

ABOUT ME

I like to laugh and have fun, but also to learn and gain wisdom so I don't waste my life. I'm very interested in other cultures, ways of life, both civilized and primitive. I'm sort of a student, although I'll never go to college again. Different ideas, perspectives, and mythologies fascinate me.
I'm an extroverted introvert. I love animals and trees and all of wild nature.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm trying to find my own philosophy. Its not a "personal philosophy" if you've only accepted the common ideas of your culture. To have a personal philosophy you must think for yourself and question authority. I learn and learn and keep searching more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

All positive experiences, except for trying to couchsurf in Italy where no one even responded to me because they were all horny guys trying to hook up with cute girls. So I wouldn't recommend using Couchsurfing if you go to Italy, maybe try Hospitality Club or find some good hostels there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed with some really cool people who I learned from and found joy in. I like to share my experiences in life, knowledge, etc and learn from others the same.

Interests

Traveling and sightseeing and all that stuff. An authentic experience of reality. The outdoors, kayaking, hiking, camping, primitive skills. Music, drinking, concerts, watching documentaries and movies. Reading about all sorts of subjects, like: mythology/religion, anthropology, philosophy, anti-authoritarian thinking, psychology, ecology, history.

Music: I listen to a lot of it.

I'm always reading something new that interests me.
Some favorite authors: Alan Watts, Joseph Campbell, Derrick Jensen, Daniel Quinn, Nietzsche, C.G. Jung, John Zerzan, Crimethinc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Achieved enlightenment at age 11, but subsequently lost it after a bad car accident left me spiritually paralyzed for a number of years. I like to joke.

But seriously, I can't think of the one most amazing thing in my life. Its all amazing??

Teach, Learn, Share

The absurdity of life is very hard for an individual to accept.
