ABOUT ME

I love singing shape-note music.

I've hiked up a mountain or two, hitchhiked around the southwest, seen a moose from my canoe in the Boundary Waters, and biked alone across Austria in the winter snow. Last year I had a small vegetable farm in Pennsylvania.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm not able to host right now but I've hosted in the past, and hopefully in the future I will again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm on couchsurfing because I believe in hospitality and because couchsurfing makes it possible to travel safely to new places.

My past housemates and I sometimes brought home couchsurfers, who often enrich my life in unexpected ways. I couchsurfed in Vienna, Sofia, and Istanbul during my trip from Freiburg to Turkey.
