ABOUT ME
You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. (Dr Suess)
a little late to the travel experience, i am learning the ways of the world, one country at a time. spent 22 yrs working the same job out of college, rarely traveled. decided to sell my company before i followed my father's footsteps of deaprting the world days after retirement. 2 yrs of intl travel has brought me to a place i never could have reached sitting on my own couch in fort lauderdale, fl. i am committed to spreading the love from travel enlightened americans, that yes, we do travel and have words of wisdom to offer the travel community.
vagabond, spiritual, lesbian, vegitarian, animal lover, a beer or wine in the eves makes my day :)
PHILOSOPHY
"We end up spending the best part of one's life earning money in
order to enjoy a questionable liberty during the least valuable part of it."
(Thoreau)
i say, pack it up, sell it, disregard those who say no, and explore the world without doubts or regrets.

Teach, Learn, Share
at the older end of the backpacker spectrum, i feel i have a different perspective to offer (to the masses of twenty somethings). not that what i have to offer is 'better' just different. plus, i love nature, outdoor activites, volunteering my time all over the world. i recently gained my TEFL teaching certificate and hope to offer teaching english to international organizations or charities that can benefit. donating my time is my major focus right now.
