I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures, languages and lifestyles. I study literature and I write a lot myself, so hearing people's stories is really interesting to me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Right now, I'm listening to a lot of FKA Twigs, Flume and Flying Lotus. I just saw a great documentary about Nina Simone though, so I've been listening to her a lot and trying to learn more about soul, jazz and blues.

Film wise, I love everything by Paul Thomas Anderson and Michaelangelo Antonioni, especially Boogie a Nights and Blow Up. I love documentaries too, especially when they're about politics or food.

Books: anything by Joan Didion, but especially Slouching Toward Bethlehem. I also love Ralph Ellison's Invisible Man, Jane Austen's Persuasion,

Climed a mountain in British Columbia called "The Chief" which really looks like it's name!
