About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore and meet more of my fellow humans!
ABOUT ME
I am a Northwest girl who tries to enjoy life and the people in it! I recently graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in human physiology. I hope to further my studies next year in pursuit of becoming a Naturopathic Doctor. I enjoy the outdoors and spend a great deal of my time running and riding my horse, Addie. A true "Portlander" at heart, I love craft beers and take comfort in dark and rainy days.
PHILOSOPHY
"Take what you can use and let the rest go by" -Ken Kesey

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled to Nepal in 2008 and worked in an orphanage there. I was blown away by the energy and spirits of the orphans I worked with. By modern day standards these kids had nothing, but they were happier than many people I know who have "everything" here in the US.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share an intelligent conversation. I can share a beverage and I can share a meal (I know more than a few good recipes). I can also teach people to knit if that is something they want to learn!
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, China, Indonesia, Nepal, Peru
Countries I’ve Lived In
Thailand, United States
