Hey. I'm Kelcie. I'm in a transitional period of my life, exploring my identity, exploring career options, my own sense of self. I'm making myself anew. I'm wondering, "What's the meaning of it all?"

I am a nurse, an aerialist, a flexibility enthusiast, a dancer, a lover of nature. Trees are some of my best friends.

I like to cook, especially with and for my human friends.

I enjoy reading sci-fi and fantasy books. I'm taking an online class through EdEx called JUSTICE and it's AMAZING.

I like deep conversations discussing what's *really* going on with people - depression, anxiety, love, fear, excitement. I like real talk.

I am an introvert. I like people, but I need time to recharge. I choose my social time carefully since I have a limited capacity for socializing.

I especially enjoy interesting/interactive art exhbits, cultural centers, science lectures, quirky museums, indie movie/music scenes, and social dancing. I do blues, swing, tango, zouk, and fusion dance.

I also like to seek out more natural environments where being outdoors for a walk, bike ride, or hike is a possibility. Even just a nice park is greatly appreciated in my book.

I am also super open to things that aren't related to any of those direct interests. Maybe I'll discover something I didn't know I liked!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm embarking on a trip to Europe for a few months! I would love to meet people through couchsurfing and hopefully crash on a few couches here and there.
