About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to never stop travelling and learning
ABOUT ME
Currently working as a 1:1 teaching assistant for children with special needs (2015). I graduated in Psychology from Cardiff uni in 2012 and now I'm just enjoying life and the simple things. I love spending my time building and making things. I started working for a brilliant cycling charity called Pedal Power in January 2013.
I've done a fair amount of traveling - a 3 month inter-rail around Europe, 2 summers of WWOOFING in Bulgaria and Greece and in 2012 I went to Tanzania for 3 weeks. I spent Autumn 2014 back in Tanzania working on an educational based water and sanitation program within a local community.
I would describe myself as an environmentalist especially when it comes to re-using/ recycling things and making useful items from junk. I am an anti-consumerist and an anti-capitalist.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe I am on earth to learn and share my ideas and experiences with others and also to look after and love everything and everybody around me. I try and live my life in a sustainable way and follow a strict vegetarian diet, leaning more and more towards the vegan way of life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couchsurfed in Budapest and Sofia. In Sofia we stayed with twins who had a crazy cat and took us to a reggae gig in the park :)
Summer 2014 I couchsurfed with two different hosts in North England whilst on a West-East coast cycle ride with a friend.
I've also hosted in two different houses in Cardiff.
Interests
Music- play violin, piano, flute, accordion and I enjoy discovering new bands & going to gigs. Many forms of art, sculpture, creative knitting, painting, sewing. Yoga, walking, cycling, swimming.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Become an aunt to my beautiful nieces and nephews.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach other people how to play the violin, basic flute & piano, also could teach knitting and sewing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am moving house yet again this summer and the house needs work on when I return from my Europe trip at the end of Aug. Will be able to host again from around the end of Sep 2015 when we will be able to provide a private single room, sofa space, shared meals, huge garden and plenty of music, all within walking distance of Cardiff central station.
