PHILOSOPHY
This world is a beautiful and amazing place. I revel in that, and love it. I hope it continues to be so.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I think CS is an amazing resource. It's much more fun and interesting to travel with friends, and experience places through the eyes of someone who lives there, and this is a spectacular way to make new friends and do so.
Interests
Why things are the way they are, how they work the way they do, and what they might be like in the future
I love being outdoors and learning about the world around me.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm recently on a kick of reading all the books I "should have" read but haven't, including 1984, Brave new World, Catch 22, Angela's Ashes, Great Gatsby, etc. I've always been a fan of Tolkien. I also like reading popular science/nonfiction. My favorite of those is "Song of the Dodo," which I highly recommend.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There was a fellow teacher in the Dominican Republic who I went home with for a weekend. She lived with her two young sons, mother, and sister in one of the "neighborhoods." I still can't get over how much love was in that house -- they were so rich in love.

I want to learn to shoot a bow, and have a beautiful hand-made one to learn with.
