About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live like I'm watching myself
ABOUT ME
I'm kinda quiet and you'll to drive conversation until I get to know you. Despite that, I have a pretty interesting background and make a habit of putting unexpected pieces together in the puzzle of my life. I have an unhealthy obsession with tea :)
PHILOSOPHY
You make the life you're living and if you're not happy with the way it is currently, you have the power to change it. When you want something sincerely you take small and consistent steps towards it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I live at the school I work at (in the middle of nowhere) and currently don't have a car so I'm a little short on couch space and it's hard for me to meet for coffee or activities. Sorry 'bout that but if you drop me a line with a question or wanting advice, I'll do my very best to steer you right.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't hosted or surfer yet but I do go to meet up and meetings when I can and so far it's been really great. Hopefully I'll get to the hosting surfing part soon.
Interests
I love languages (and though I have to work hard at them it's always worth it), sharing cultural customs, Biology, being outdoors (hiking, biking, camping, and small craft boating), photography, and watching/playing sports. Not necessarily in that order.

Music, Movies, and Books
Action, sci-fi, fantasy movies are nice. I could name several but stuff like Startrek is high on my priority list.
I read less often than I wish I could but I lean towards the 19th century literature from Europe or scientific research.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hiked up a mountain in the wee hours of the morning so I could stand on the Great Wall as the sun rose. It was amazing-the blind hike up, watching the sunrise on top of a mountain in such an ancient place, and the sometimes-less-than-safe way down.
Or the first time I went firefly catching. It was magical.
Teach, Learn, Share
Vincent VanGogh was heavily influenced by Japanese woodcuts in his early art.
