Overview
About Me
It's the simple things that make me happy--beautiful morning coffee spots, happy dogs, and seeing new things. I'm in veterinary school, so my travel time is my release from the day to day hustle and bustle. Stimulating conversation can have me intrigued for hours or I can be quiet independent. When I'm home I fill my time with running, crafting, reading, biking, and visiting local breweries.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I don't want to experience anything in the typical sense. I want to meet new people, completely different from me, that can offer new perspective in my life. Most people I’ve met on couch surfing have been wonderfully introspective--I really appreciate sharing that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Get into vet school(!) but the thing that changed my life the most was my first solo trip to Costa Rica
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot about animal health from my studies and I love all animals. I'm an amateur potter, so I can talk clay. I also recently made it through a difficult time of life. I spent most mornings reflecting and I love to share my understanding of this life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I grew up in rural North Carolina and then attended a university where I developed my values and beliefs. I can share my story of what it was like to grow up in a rural America and then move to a big city for college. I've visited most of the big national parks in the US and have tips for breaking away from the tourist track.
