About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To not sell out. To find inspiration and direction....help here?
ABOUT ME
I'm the quiet type. Shy but definitely not disinterested. I love to cook for people. I will geek out about movies/music/beer with anyone. I like to do things that combine the use of my hands and eyeballs (knitting, gardening, fixing things, painting) I live for autumn in New England, winter in Chicago, spring in the Northwest, summer in the Southwest, and the smell of campfire lingering on my clothes. I'd hike a mountain every day if I could. I just embarked on a mission to complete The Next Generation series in chronological order. I want to ride bikes with you.
PHILOSOPHY
Appreciate every part of every person you meet. You dont have to like it all, but understand it. "True worth is in being, not seeming" ...that was a good fortune cookie i got once.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For now I am playing host to interested parties. I've been moving around alot this year so repeat-surfers can travel with me if they so desire :) Current location is a small island off the coast of Massachusetts.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
(In NH) Was taken in briefly by a friend who so generously offers up rooms in his parents' house to travelers while he's in South Korea. They are amazing people but couldn't really do the tour guide thing, so thats where I came in at times.
Interests
ARTS of any kind. Reading. The beach. The mountains. Learning new games. Music in vinyl form. Eccentric folk. Riding bikes(and learning how to fix them). Urban agriculture. Raw-food-ism. Science Fiction. Hookahs. Yarns and therefore knitting. Symmetry. The noise my cat makes when he licks between his toes.
