Born and raised in Hawaii, I love to read. Fantasy, sci-fi, and history being three of my favorites. Surfing and basketball are two of my passions. I do the former and watch the latter as I am semi-retired at this point. I also enjoy frequenting museums and art galleries. Despite being a novice, I really enjoy art.

I'm more of a bar than club guy and enjoy imbibing as much as the next man, assuming the next man isn't Mel Gibson.

I am a freelance writer who is enjoying the fruits of working remote. I've been traveling the majority of the year since 2014. I return to Hawaii typically once a year to see family and get my shot of paradise.

To meet new people. I have gotten to the point where I don't have to couch surf, assuming I'm not in a ridiculously expensive city.

I travel solo most of the time, so it's nice to have a way to meet people and experience a place from a local's perspective.

Intereses

Other than what I've already mentioned, I love wandering the streets of big cities, reading on park benches, bar hopping and as many off the beaten path activities as possible.

The Beatles, Bob Marely and Pink Floyd are some of my favorites. I also enjoy hip hop from the late 80s and early 90s. Somewhat Recently joined spotify, as I'm trying to find new music.

I have eclectic taste in books but fantasy, sci-fi and history are what I tend to read most.
