Interests

My main interests are music, food, travel (obviously), and film/tv. Of course, there's no better way to enjoy these interests than by sharing them with my family and friends. It's extremely rare that I ever have a weekend when I don't have any plans with family/friends, which is a good thing, considering I haven't any roommates except the cat and she alone does not provide sufficient socialization.

Music, Movies, and Books

Shows I watch regularly: American Horror Story, Mad Men, Dexter, True Blood, Girls, Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey, Boardwalk Empire, Project Runway, So You Think You Can Dance (no I'm not afraid to admit it), and a number of different shows on the Food Network and HGTV channel....damn I watch too much TV.

Honestly, I don't read as much as I should. I go through spells where I will really like what I'm reading and will get through it quickly or I will milk a book for months. I like funny books like some of David Sedaris' stuff and some historical books (finished Uncle Tom's Cabin recently).

I listen to all kinds of music, starting with the music I listen to more often: indie, techno (IDM, Dub, glitch, etc.), punk, classic rock, 80s, alternative country, old country, metal, etc.

My memory is not serving me too well right now to discuss movies. I will address later.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing Rome's ancient ruins. The scale of the architecture is tremendous and its so surreal to be surrounded by structures that date back to BC.
