I really enjoy hosting people: so many interesting stories, and it feels good to be able to support other travelers.

I'm a swing dancer(primarily blues and Lindy), though I dabble a little in everything from English Country Dancing to Cha.
I'm also a hobbyist programmer, typically playing around with Python and small to medium sized data sets.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is broad and shallow, but the song that reliably brings tears to my eyes is Somebody Will, a transhumanist anthem about sacrificing for a brighter future.
Favorite movies include Metropolis and Black Widow 2: The Winter Soldier.

Teach, Learn, Share

Python programmer with a focus on data analysis and natural language processing. Close reader (yes, in that I studied close reading) who habitually carts around a few books. Decent cook.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I tend to drop off books at every place I stay if the hosts are interested: it helps me lighten my load as I finish books and lets me spread good things to nice people.

I'm a decent cook, and try to make a meal for anyone who lets me stay in their home.

I've worked as a writing tutor, and I'm always willing to look at papers, articles, or anything else you want a second pair of eyes for.
