Bob: Somewhat shy and reserved at first, I'm an easy-going,live-and-let-live kind of person. More of a dreamer than a doer.
Cindy: I'm a quiet thoughtful person who loves to be physically active.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Bob: I just returned from a ten week cross-country trip and I have to say I'm pretty disappointed in the low percentage of positive responses I received and am especially mystified by the folks who didn't respond at all. Coupled with the clunky mechanics of the couch surf page I ended up spending a lot more time and energy than I expected, for a few successful surfs.
That being said, the people I did surf with were universally wonderful and added so much to my journey that I can't thank them enough.

Interests

Bob: My main interest is music. I compose, play and listen to many genres. I'm an avid reader, mostly history lately. I also love playing board games and cards.
Cindy: Biking, canoeing, hiking, singing, gardening, speaking Spanish, Morris dancing,climbing trees, making outrageous costumes.

Music, Movies, and Books

Bob:Lately I've been watching movies by John Sayles and Alfred Hitchcock. Current reading has been on the French Enlightenment. The Hoosier Hot Shots are on the stereo at the moment.
Cindy:I like to sing, especially Balkan folk music. I listen to jazz, world music and classical. I dislike most movies; the ones I like tend to be foreign films. I read mostly in natural history and some classic fiction.
