About Me

Hola! I am from Indiana. I come from a big family, mostly in Michigan and Indiana. In high school, I played soccer and did track & field. But I grew up with an older brother and dad that love sports so I've watched almost every sport ever hahah.

Now, I'm a college student studying at Purdue University in Indiana, US. I just finished a spring semester studying abroad in Valencia, Spain. This spring semester is the first time I've crossed the Atlantic. (I had been dreaming of studying abroad since high school). However, since I don't know the next time I'll be able to visit the wondrous land called Europe, I want to try to experience as much as I can while I'm here (not overload though, because I don't think you can rush experiences like this, great things take time). I want to experience and learned about the history, the culture, the people, and the food, both on and off the beaten path of the places I visit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great way to get a more authentic "taste" or "feel" of where you are. More person to person, I guess. Also, I am a college student so couchsurfing is a good way to save money so I am able to visit more cool places and make the most of the time I have in Europe. But like let's be honest, education isn't free in America *yet?* so I probably won't be able to come back to Europe until I pay off my student loans :/

Music, Movies, and Books

I like almost all music and I love hearing new stuff, as well as the oldies.
I like lots of movies and its hard for me to pick favorites. One of my favorites of all time was the movie Stick It. There are more but it's hard to narrow it down.
Whenever I read books, I tend to binge read and read the entire book in a couple or few day or the entire series in a short amount of time. I recently started reading Atlas Shrugged but haven't finished because it's a looong book. Since college it has been more difficult to find the time to read /: .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In high school, I pole vaulted and I think thats pretty amazing and it was sooo much fun.
One time I face planted really hard while wakeboarding, that counts as amazing right?
My freshman year of college, I went to Nicaragua with Habitat for Humanity to build houses.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach, Learn, Share. Not sure what to put here but I really like math?
Also, I think there is a lot you can learn just from interacting with people you don't usually interact with, its a good way to open up your mind to how different people are but yet also the same.

I love meeting new people and learning about their lives
