About Me

Things I love:
Music, dancing, travel, hiking/adventuring, food, craft beer, good movies, beaches, intellectual conversation, music festivals, exploring, really boujee coffee, comfortable pants, animals, optomism, and new friends!

Things I don't love so much:
Hard boiled eggs and haters.

Also I'm really laid-back, low maintenance, and clean!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel A LOT for job opportunities. I work in the music business, specifically in live events, and this type of work sends me all over the country, all year round.

In addition to saving money while I'm on the road, I'm couchsurfing so I can meet cool and interesting people and make new friends across the country. I'd rather stay with locals who can show me around the area, than post up in an expensive hotel spending all of the hard-earned money I've made.

Making new friends is awesome!

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Music: anything good! I'm always open and excited to hear new tunes, in nearly any genre or style. Right now I'm really into the funky EDM scene with artists like Griz, Gramatik, and Brasstracks. I'm also feeling the soulful hip-hop/urban contemporary vibe like Noname, Anderson Paak, and D'Angelo.

Favorite Movies: anything by Quentin Tarantino, Moonrise Kingdom, Almost Famous

Favorite Books: Harry Potter Series, House of Leaves by Mark Z Danielewski

Favorite Podcast: The Adventure Zone!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled all over the world for almost 2 years! Spent long periods of time in Hawaii, Southern Africa, and South East Asia. I volunteered at a number of places working with children, animals, and doing community development. I backpacked around to meet new friends, participated in a ton of adventurous activities, and learned new languages and cuisines.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can Teach: Strange languages, cooking skills, behind-the-scenes info about the music buisness (lol), various styles of dance, TONS of super fun games

I will Learn: Anything you want to show me! Well, anything legal... and relatively safe. Definitely interested in learning about the cities I'm going to be staying in!

We will Share: music, food, laughs, stories, and fun times!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm an excellent cook and happy to help in the kitchen. I have a ton of stories from my world travels to share! I'm super clean and will probably leave your home even cleaner than it was when I got there. And if it's ever possible, I'll totally give you comp tickets to whatever show I'm working.
