To see the world and to help others do the same! Through surfing we hope to meet new people, share stories, and open minds (including our own).

ABOUT ME

We are a couple who met at Cornell University while working on our undergraduate degree. We love to travel and to meet new people!

Kelley is 21 year old recent graduate, who studied Natural Resources and concentrated on sustainable agriculture. She loves all sorts of music, farmers markets, gardening, knitting, cooking, cats, the color yellow, scuba diving, crew, swimming, triatholon, photography, cooperative living, 80s/90s power divas, and spontaneous-uninhibited-dance. She's a vegeterian who loves meat eaters. She 's currently applying to landscape architecture programs.

Adam is a 23 year old planetary science graduate student at Caltech working on his PHD, but don't be intimidated he has the social skills and sense of humor of a 5 year old. He enjoys running marathons, trail running, Kelley, technology that Kelley doesn't understand, babies, older polish ladies, space, electronic music, photography, painting, video games, and "cool things."

We're total opposites, but it works, come see for yourself!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We crashed on multiple"couches" throughout Europe last summer when we visited Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, France, and Switzerland.

We hope to return the favor! We will give whatever travel advice we can, although we are a bit new to California. Sharing dinner or grabbing a beer is a must if you do decide to stay with us!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have yet to host anyone, but are very excited to! We have been blessed with numerous positive experiences crashing on couches that have lead to amazing travel experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds all around!

In terms of films, Kelley tends to go for more independent and historical films, whereas Adam is more of a Science Fiction man. Both agree that anything Pixar creates is beautiful.

Our music taste is fairly broad, we love everything, quite literally. Adam is known to whip out the pots and pans. Kelley is a member of a one woman wine-glass-bottle-band. Our Ithaca roots are deeply connected to folksy upstate NY, however, we love tons of electronic.

Kelley tends to read cookbooks and green/environmental propaganda (just kidding, sort of). Adam of course will read anything about space.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Adam- completed two marathons.
Kelley- scuba diving
Together- traveled across Europe in a month on a $1,000 budget.

Teach, Learn, Share

Adam speaks french and Kelley is a knitter, both are up for teaching if you're interested. If we visit you, please let us cook you dinner, we would love to! Any interest in discussing environmental issues, Kelley is all for it. Space and Physics is Adam's domain.

Most importantly, we love to share stories.
