ABOUT ME

I moved to AK for the summer and met a boy... 6 years later Im still here :). I like yoga, being outdoors as much as possible, finding local/authentic places. I love a good adventure and feed off of diversity.

PHILOSOPHY

Overcome every obstacle and live life; find true joy in the simple things that matter. And when you feel yourself getting old and heavy hearted make your own adventure to lighten the load; laugh a little while your at it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had only 2 experiences with couchsurfing and they have been amazing! I have never hosted but hope to soon. Couchsurfing is such a great way to meet free spirited people.

Interests

I love sports and nature. I very much so feed off of being spontaneous. I am both a girly girl and a tom boy, tend to not talk too much... Love the mountains, love the beach, love it all. HATE HEIGHTS! Its a very sad concept for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am def not an adventure seeker. So no stories about that. But what all ALWAYS remember is the foods and the feelings. haha. So far, Ive been to Germany, London, Costa Rica, The Yucatan, Romania, Hawaii, Alaska, and places in the lower 48.

My best adventure was located in the Outer Banks, NC. As a team, we hiked about 5 miles down the shore to camp. In the morning, as we hiked back we were able to see baby sharks, sting rays, jelly fish, etc. that had washed up on shore within the night. It was one of the coolest memories.

I think my other memory was in Puerte Viejo De Talamaca, Costa Rica. If you like reggae lifestyle then this is def the place for you. lol.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a simple person. I believe in the power of nature and its simplicity. Im also a very laid back person. This is one of the things I tend to instill in others... a laid back relaxed attitude for the stresses of life. I am also vision oriented. I believe you can do anything your heart desires... no idea is too big to accomplish.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share some of the local spots here in south alaska. This is a very beautiful place and so much to see! Glaciers, the ocean views, sleeping Lady views, sea life, northern lights, mid night sun, etc.

Im attempting to ease my boyfriend into welcoming the idea of hosting. Not happening yet but who knows... haha
