About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Chicago journalist living the dream in London, England
ABOUT ME
Kelley- I'm an editor and writer who recently moved to London, England. I run a international magazine with my husband called majestic disorder which focuses on creative individuals all over the world. Put a bottle of wine in front of me and I'll talk about everything from existentialism to nihilism to my love for The Smiths and The Doors. I love literature esp. F. Scott Fitzgerald, Miranda July, Tao Lin, Jane Austen, Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk and Kurt Vonnegut. I'm a philosophy nut all around too. I drink at least 4 cups of coffee a day. I really enjoy traveling, art, reading the Economist weekly, vegan-vegetarian food, good beer, museums, vinyl records, cozy coffee houses, used bookstores, good music and adventures.
PHILOSOPHY
"Knowing others is intelligence; knowing yourself is true wisdom. Mastering others is strength; mastering yourself is true power. If you realize that you have enough, you are truly rich."
"All things of the Universe are miracles, each as profound as any."
"So it goes."
"Another flaw in the human character is that everybody wants to build and nobody wants to do maintenance."
"Love life and life will love you back."
"A positive attitude and hard work are the keys to success."
