Many of my friends have hosted and surfed and loved the experience. I became friends with a group of couchsurfers in New Orleans and loved the sense of community it brought to otherwise strangers. I'm backpacking South America and really would love to meet people who live there instead of staying with fellow travelers all the time. I'm also excited about hosting when I return home to Brooklyn. I love new experiences and hearing about other people's too!
