ABOUT ME

I find it hard to describe myself. I am a student and a landscaper. I have been a nanny, waitress, a gas station attendant, a model, a painter, a caretaker, and a photographer. I love to travel and meet other people who are doing things I have never seen before. I love to hear and tell stories. I love music, and have a dream of being able to play the piano well enough to express myself with it. I love art and find it important for all of us to create when and what we can. I guess all I can say is that I am and always have been constantly changing and looking for adventure, truth, to connect with others, and better understanding of myself and what is around me.

PHILOSOPHY

It seems to change a lot lately... therefore I guess it will be to never stop learning and to always be open to the lessons life presents you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only surfed so far because I have yet to have a couch to offer. I would love to show someone around, share a homecooked meal, or help someone practice english.(language exchange, I speak Spanish too!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with a few people in Istanbul and loved the CS community I found there. I have never felt so instantly welcomed into a city before. I hope to be able to do this for others!

Interests

Hiking, yoga, reading, surfing, learning piano(still terrible but love it anyway!), music, dancing, plants/gardening, being outside in almost any way, telling and hearing stories, and of course traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled for 8 months in South America which changed my perspective on everything. I helped my sister, and brother in-law take care of newborn twins for a month. At the moment this seems to top all the crazy traveling I have done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know spanish, have some experience teaching english, know basic gardening skills, just learned how to clean a fish today! and I would love to learn more piano.
