About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn about sustainability and see the world

ABOUT ME

I like to read books, draw, bend reality, drink coffee. I spend time gluing boxes together and calling it art. Right now I'm in work/traveling mode, planning the next big adventure.

Exploit your senses

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

All I can offer at the moment is a meeting at a local restaurant or a tour around town. I'm very optimistic about the CS philosophy and when I have my own home look forward to hosting a variety of great people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a few couchsurfing experiences and they have all been great. Those involved in the community are open minded and easy to get along with.

Interests

I can be interested in a lot of different things at once and like to bounce back and forth from idea to idea. Change is my friend. These following topics seem to be constants in my life:
-Youtube
-good conversation
-The Internet
-Social Networks
-Drawing
-Driving, Travel
-Art, installation, sculpture, photog
-tennis
-consciousness

Music, Movies, and Books

anything Bukowski, Gladwell, Kerouac (of course),Ginsberg, Irving Layton. matador.com, wikipedia, the joe rogan podcasts (surprisingly good and not limited to mma discussion)

I like movies that Tarentino has made. Reservoir Dogs is a classic. I really like documentaries, or shows about travel. Departures is a good show and so is the Thirsty Traveler.

My music tastes are always changing,
-shaky graves
neutral milk hotel
-some santogold
-animal collective
-the smiths
-lykke li
-I like to use hype machine to find remixes and new music.
-leonard cohen
-modest mouse
-built to spill
-some kinks
-buck 65
-cadence weapoin
-theophilus london

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Early 2008 spent 10 days in Italy on a school trip. took in so many sights and works of art. This whole trip really opened my eyes to traveling and a different culture. In the summer of 08 I hitch hiked to Montreal and met some great people on the way.

Lived in a hostel in Victoria, BC for a couple of months in 2012 and met some great folks

Teach, Learn, Share

we never stop learning and I'm open to trying anything new and exciting things - this sounds so cliche. I would love to receive any tips on efficient traveling on a budget.

I think the best way to get to know someone or something is to have a real conversation about it over a cup of coffee or a pint. Everyone has something to teach.

Countries I’ve Visited

Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Spain, United Kingdom, United States
