I'm a Southern girl with a globetrotter heart. Currently I work as a registered nurse in the ICU but I'm in school for geology and soon to go to grad school for paleontology. Travel, books, food, and animals are my heart (whether the one that lives in your house or one that's been buried in the earth for millions of years). My number one favorite thing about traveling is the people I meet.

I want to get to know what the places I'm visiting are REALLY like, and I believe the best way to do that is to actually hang out with the people who live there. Life is made up of the threads of connection we make between each other, and stretching that web to new places and new people is one of my biggest goals in life!
