ABOUT ME

Hello!

We haven't had too many chances to explore beyond the borders of the US. Now is the time! We are taking that step. Making the leap. We want to experience Europe - get to know the people, the culture, the lifestyle. And you just can't do that from the hotel room. Not that our teacher/non-profit worker salaries allow for that anyway!

ABOUT US: We love to laugh and meet new people, walk new neighborhoods and travel. We once tried to walk the entire perimeter of Manhattan island (but gave in to the bus after 22 miles)! We take our jobs/work very seriously but take our play equally as seriously. We are just as happy out and about as we are spending some quiet time at home.

ABOUT CHRISTOPHER: While I love to meet new people, I can be pretty shy at the beginning (though eventually my humor sneaks out). I like to think of myself as creative and, if you saw what I made last night for dinner, you would probably agree. I have not been out of the country much at all and have dreamed about seeing the world for as long as I can remember. Decided that now is the time - because if not now, then when?

ABOUT KELLY: I love traveling, but haven't seen as much of Europe as I'd like. I studied for 3 months in Brasil and am proud that I made Christopher use his dusty passport for the first time when he visited me there. I am very interested in living a sustainable life, and feel like Europeans have much to teach Americans in that regard. Beside all that, I am really looking forward to the opportunity to see and experience some other lifestlyes while we search for what to do next in ours.
