I am a university student who is currently studying abroad in Alicante, Spain. I decided to come to Spain because I want to be fluent in Spanish not only to help me be more marketable for a job but because I think that learning another language is one of the most valuable skills you can obtain.

I have pretty laid back personality and for the most part can take what life throws at me. The most important thing in my life is my family and my friends. This is because I know that I wouldn't be the person I am today without all the support that I get from them. I see my life as one big adventure to be lived and my biggest fear is that when I am old I will regret the chances I didn't take. For now, that means I'm going to travel to every corner of the world I can, and I can't wait to see where life takes me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I have such a passion for traveling and learning about places and people all over the world. I always want to see the cities I travel to from the eyes of a local and sometimes that it really hard to accomplish with tourists all around me! Couch surfing makes getting a real feel for the city a little bit easier.

I also couchsurf for the relationships I can develop and the people I can learn from. Although I haven't had the opportunity yet, I would love to host because I could continue to learn about other places while still at home.

My interests include dancing, reading, traveling and exploring new places, hiking, camping, eating, knitting, ice skating, going on mission trips/volunteering, and hanging out with awesome people that I can learn from.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This whole semester that I have spent studying in Spain and traveling Europe has been the most amazing adventure of my life. Every country I visit and every person I meet has helped me to learn more about myself and about the world that I live in.
