I'm starting a new season in my life. I've been a single mother, of a now grown Son and now I'm a proud grandmother! I've desired to explore our country for years and now I have the time and courage to do so! I don't really have the budget for it, but fear if I wait for that I'll never do it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've decided it's time to take a leap of faith and travel the country. I'm becoming an artist and I'd like to take my time to find a new home town where I will be inspired and encouraged daily to create art, develop new friendships and inspire and encourage others! I'd also like to spend time near my grandson without imposing on my Son and his beautiful new wife!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a variety of music, mostly oldies, country and Christian. I enjoy comedies and romance and Christian movies. I've recently been enjoying foreign films. I don't read much, but when I do I enjoy uplifting and inspiring stories, I also like mystery and health related books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just ran my first 5k last spring! It seems such a small thing looking at that written down here but the trials and efforts and healing and courage it took to achieve it makes it amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope to meet as many artists as I can along my journey. I want to learn as many new techniques as I can and share what I know and what I've learned! I love going to college and I've learned a lot, but I think learning from different people, who come from different areas, is far more interesting!
