About Me
Hello, I am Kelly and I live with my wife and our 4 children on a natural habitat just a few minutes outside of Goroka.
I am a beekeeper and nature lover.
My family and I are running this project since October 2013. Our habitat is based in beautiful mountainous surrounding with warm and sometimes chilly temperatures (for us highlanders). We started developing the land and planted throughout the last 3 years more than 400 trees, flowers and herbs. The mission is to setup the natural habitat the native spiecies with native natural faun and fauna, educational for visitors and students about the PNG native plants and animal. We want to have the best natural habitat well developed for visitors, students, families and tourists as well as the best attraction for research, educational and pleasure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like having guests and sharing my home with travellers.
I've had many guests before but just recently discovered Couchsurfing and I think it is a great way to meet people from all over the world.
I can organise for you to go watch the bird of paradise. I have a friend that lives in a house surrounded by beautiful nature right next to the forest where the bird of paradise dance in the morning.
