I want to share with the world my little slice of heaven, and I want to see everyone elses little slices too!

ABOUT ME

i grew up in the city, a bit wild i was.
then came love then came marriage, then came the best thing ever- my daughter!
cookies crumble, life goes on, and so it was... me and her against the world.
our first lesson:
it was her and i rocking and rolling WITH the world!
we had a blast learning and exploring together!
we moved to the river in 2004, what a wonderful place!
but the sands keep falling thru the glass, and now i have an empty nest.
so... i made a decision to go out on a limb,
and take the fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants
european adventure i have wanted for so long.
i am not rich in wallet,
but i have a few things i have always wanted to do and see,
and i cant think of a better time.

PHILOSOPHY

*dont lie, dont steal, dont do anything you cant tell your momma about... well at least dont lie and dont steal ;)
**ppl r ppl all over the world, we all have ups and we all have downs--dont be afraid to make connections.
***dont burn your bridges, they are too hard to rebuild. if you must, put up some caution tape or a 'do not enter' sign on your side of the bridge.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i am new to couch surfing, and am excited to get started. i live across the street from a nice river. you can pitch a tent by the fire, or sleep in the spare room. stay a nite or three, or four (maybe 8 is too many). you can go floating, walk thru the woods, or just sit by the river to enjoy the bueaty of the ozarks. i do a free '3 hour tour' down the river on floaties, it is amazing! there are over 600 known caves in the county, arrowheads to be found, and bluffs to drive under. on the flip side, i want to come see what you have, i would love to share a moment of time in your neighborhood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

volunteering in joplin after the tornado...
i seen ppl from all over come together,
and work as a family helping strangers to overcome.
in the six weeks i was there, i seen 100's of miracles- real miracles.
then there was this time...
we played flashlight tag in the black hills of s.dakota,
on the side of a mountain in the pitch black of night.
that too was amazing! LMAO

Teach, Learn, Share

i can teach you how to make a chocolate cake that is not only delicious, but raw! and made with ALL whole foods! or - maybe teach you how to swim.
