ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going kiwi currently living in the inner west of Sydney, Australia. I love to travel but don't do it often. Love socialising with like minded souls and enjoying having a laugh and having fun!

I feel I'm respectful of others and quite a tidy person and try to be mindful of how people live.

Music wise I love anything that sounds good! I must admit I don't really enjoy commercial generic tunes but I have a wide appreciation for different music. DJing I play everything from old school hip-hop, funk, soul, disco, reggae, break beats, jazz fusion, etc... to house, deep, tech and techno!

I love all aspects of being creative which also includes admiring people who are artistic in any shape and form. I like to learn and give things a go from refurbishing 60's chairs to shoe making where I recently finished a shoe course here in Sydney.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At this stage I can only meet up and happy to show you around parts of Sydney if you would like a non-touristy guide. If I happen to be DJing whilst you are in Sydney I can always drag you along for a free night out and introduce you to friends if there is an outing :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All my couch surfing experiences have been really good. I have hosted once and been hosted a few times throughout my travels and have met so many nice people and honestly feel without meeting this amazing hosts my journey would not have been so enjoyable.

I prefer the authentic experience when traveling and I love meeting people that prefer the same experience rather than doing a tour etc (it's just not my thing).

Hmm that's a difficult one! Love good music of all sorts so it's way too hard to list.
Books I've enjoyed recently are Shogun, River God, Game of Thrones, Druss Series, and too way too many movies to name but I love good stories and tend to stay away from Hollywood block busters.

Donating sports equipment to an under privileged school near Chiang Mai. The kids were so grateful for our contribution.

Just recently I climbed the highest summit in the Dolomites. Such an amazing experience!

I think I am a great host when I have guests staying with me. I have a generous nature but I don't like being taken for granted.
