Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Of course staying in decent hotels on vacations would be nice, but what I’m looking for is actually more about having cultural exchange with the locals when I travel. Staying at the home of the hosts allows me to get to know more about the daily lives and culture of people in different cities and more importantly, to make friends with nice and kind people all around the world. I think that it is the interaction between people which makes the traveling journey a lot more unique and creates a home away from home :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the Northern Lights dancing on top of my head! I felt so lucky and the wait in the cold was definitely worth it!
