About Me

I was born in TX, lived in NJ, MD, IN, VT and now SC. I enjoy getting out and seeing what the world has to offer and it's easy to do because I have tons of energy and I love to make people laugh. I have no problem talking to new people and I'm always ready for an adventure. I'm so positive and upbeat it's nauseating. ;) Not really, I'm told it's great and I have a wonderful perspective on almost any situation in a way that I can turn it around to be happy or good. I'm looking forward to the next adventure that comes my way!

I just got married in August to my best friend. I know it's cliche', but it's true in my case. We're both pumped to travel the world and enjoy our adventurous life together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and love helping people out. If I can provide a free place to stay to help someone achieve a dream then I'm all about it! Plus, I love connecting through stories!

Interests

I volunteer as a special Olympics ski coach and kayaking coach. My husband and I are hopefully moving to a snowier climate, so I can return to my love of skiing. I LOVE to travel. I haven't had a lot of funds to much traveling outside of the U.S., but I have traveled all over the U.S. A goal of mine is to visit every U.S. National Park before I die. I have to camp or hike in the park for it to count.
